Business Profile

Originally known as Moisant Field Airport was used by the US Army during World War II until 1946. By January 1947 Moisant Field was the largest commercial airport in the nation. The name was changed to New Orleans International Airport in 1960. Then in August 2001 was renamed Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in honor of our local jazz musician's 100th birthday.
